Sweat: Lift + Row, Core Collective

Rowing is one of the best exercises for all-around body conditioning, take it from an ex-rower - best shape of my life. The problem is not many of us have access to a single skull or a body of water and while most gyms have indoor rowing machines, my gosh do they get tedious. Lucky then, that west London favourite, Core Collective has come up with the goods with Lift + Row, 55 minutes of high-intensity interval training that mixes indoor rowing intervals with weights and floor exercises. It's addictive (and sweaty).

Watch: On Chesil Beach

Directed by first-time feature film director Dominic Cooke and adapted from Ian McEwan’s 2007 novel of the same name, On Chesil Beach follows a day in the life of a couple of virgin 20-somethings as they struggle to navigate the tricky circumstance that is their wedding night and the expectations that come with that time. Set in 1960s England, as the opening line of the book narrates, "they lived in a time when a conversation about sexual difficulties was plainly impossible." It's a story of unsaid things, young arrogance and naivety. The book sets high expectations, but with Sairose Ronan in a staring role, we're excited by this adaption.
