In June the story will be brought to the stage at the Bridge Theatre starring Academy Award nominee, Laura Linney. While technically not an activity you can actually do in April, we predict tickets will sell fast so book now and thank yourself later.

DO: walk off the winter blues

To use one of the most overused lines in copy during this season - florals, for spring, groundbreaking. But truly, bluebell season is magic, especially after what feels like a very long and grey Winter. Head to Kent or Sussex towards the end of April to catch the best of them.

SWEAT: hit the pavement

The London marathon is back on the 22nd. Will you be taking part? Even if you’re not running, we recommend heading down to the route to revel in the energy that comes from crowds of people cheering on friends and strangers alike. Humanity at its best.
